Michael J. Stickney, Ph.D., Co-Founder and President
Dr. Stickney is co-founder and co-inventor of the technologies developed by MCIR. Dr. Stickney has extensive experience in the petrochemical industry including experience in the research and engineering of new processes related to organic oxidations, alkylations, etherifications and fuels de-sulphurization while employed with Chemical Research & Licensing Co. He has also participated in environmental, waste management and metallurgical research projects while acting as a consultant to the Houston Advanced Research Center. Dr. Stickney has authored or co-authored three patents and many publications on a variety of chemical/metallurgical processes. Dr. Stickney holds bachelors/doctorate degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Edward M. Jones, Co-Founder
Mr. Jones is co-founder and co-inventor of the technologies developed by MCIR. Prior to joining MCIR, Mr. Jones was co-founder and Vice President of Chemical Research & Licensing Co./CDTech, the premier licensor of MTBE technology worldwide. He has extensive experience in process technologies and research in the field of reactive distillation. He has authored or co-authored 24 patents in several fields related to process design and optimization. Mr. Jones obtained his bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia.Chris E. Roberts, Co-Founder, Vice President, Administration
Ms. Roberts is co-founder of MCIR. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Roberts held positions as Senior Consultant and Project Manager providing systems implementation and business consulting in the Upstream Oil & Gas, Financial and Insurance sectors. Ms. Roberts holds bachelors and masters degrees in business from the University of Houston and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
